I *Heart* NY

This is another "God, I love this city" post. I spent the evening with a couple brits, an editor, a friend from the Newyorker, and a gallery administrator. Of all things, we ended up heading to Coney Island at about 11 PM and spent the night in the batting cages, racing go-carts, playing Rockem-Sockem Robots, and strolling on the beach (which is not the best of ideas, considering all of the randy copulating couples strewn about the rough sand). We talked about politics in mid-western states and the unholy allure of bacon cheese fries.

It was an evening full of laughter and light-hearted social pondering. I love this city, and I love the fact that it's so dense with people who think hard about their surroundings and their place in the world. I love that you can do almost anything you want at any time. I love that it's becoming home to me.

I heart NY.
