Within a week, I've managed to kill the electrical system in my sister's car, have my mother diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and catch a nasty cold from my toddler.
At least I can happily read new posts on your blog, though.
Sorry to hear about your run of luck of late. (Turns out I didn't kill the car's electrical system---my sister's own wiring experiments created a short in the main harness...expensive, but not my fault ... I only failed to fix it. And the Sudafed-haze has actually made some of my tedius meetings slightly more fun at work. But I aimed for parallelism in our comments.)
And again, I'm glad you're posting again. I enjoyed your previous blog quite a bit.
